Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne (L/D):
- 7.30 pm: Depart at the hotel and depart Mui Ne by van/minibus. It takes 3 – 3,5 hours.
Nearer to Phan Thiet, the terrain changes to semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit plantation.
Arriving in Mui Ne, visit Poshanu Cham Tower, ancient ruins from the Champa Kingdom known for their unique Cham architecture and artistry. - 12.00 pm: Have lunch at a local restaurant and check in at the resort/ hotel.
- 2.00 pm: Visit White Sand Dunes, resembling an Oriental Sahara Desert, shaped by wind and sunlight. Enjoy sand-sliding or quad-biking (extra cost) for scenic views, including the year-round Lotus Lake.
- On the way back, revisit Red Sand Dunes, witness fishermen’s daily activities, and see fishing boats bringing their catches to the local market at the Fishing Village.
Lastly, explore Fairy Stream—a pristine, untouched natural wonder with picturesque mountain-water views in the White Canyon, nestled near a serene brook. - 6.00 pm: Have dinner at a local restaurant and return to the resort. Free time afterward, overnight in Mui Ne.
Day 2: Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L):
- In the morning, have breakfast at the resort/ hotel. It is free time for swimming and sunbathing.
- 12.00 pm: Check out the resort/ hotel, and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit The Fish Sauce Museum to learn about the fish sauce-making process, its historical names, and the origin of its modern name. Then, return to Ho Chi Minh City.
