Itinerary
- 7:45 – 8:15 You are welcome by our tour guide and begin your trip to Perfume Pagoda, which is around 70km away from Hanoi.Â
- After 1 and a half hours of driving, we arrive. There will be an electric car transfer from the parking area to the Duc Wharf. After relaxing for a while, we take the rowing boat along the Yen River, to Tro Wharf, and travel deeper into the Perfume Pagoda. This is your time to relax with fresh air, a good side view of limestone Mountains, rice fields, and other boats rowing in front and behind.Â
- A pagoda called Huong Tich is required to be crossed to reach the Huong Tich Cave. Visitors often cross the distance of 2.5 km to reach Huong Tich Cave. Most parts of the journey are sloping, tough and tortuous. you would notice the large dome-like jaw of a dragon which is Huong Tich. Five letters are printed on the upper side of the dome by Trinh Sam Lord as the Most Beautiful Cave in South. Upon crossing the entrance and going down deep after almost 120 steps, you will confront a captivating inner part of the cave. A Rice hill made of stalactite is present inside the middle part. Just move down a bit deep and you will encounter two paths.Â
- We then have a lunch break and a meal at a local restaurant, where you can recharge energy for the afternoon.Â
- After the lunch break, we will continue visiting Thien Tru (Heaven Kitchen) pagoda. The pagoda was built on a rectangular-shaped piece of land running through the steep courtyard to the wall as the separation between the flat land and the mountain behind the pagoda. The architectural style is known as “5 entrances with 3 steps”. The unique architectural works contribute to promoting Thien Tru Pagoda to become one of the fascinating tourist attractions in Hanoi. Over the lifetime of the abbots, the construction and reconstruction of the pagoda are still continuously continued, leading Thien Tru Pagoda to be a magnificent castle among the mountains and forests of Huong Son, showing up as a unique artistic architecture. - After that, we travel back to Duc Wharf to drive back to Hanoi with a relaxed slap or enjoy the countryside along the highway.Â
